Inner Court Music Group was established in 1997 by Gregory G. Pearson, Kenneth Mathies and Dianne Pearson. Inner Court, located in Southfield, Michigan, is currently operated by Gregory G. Pearson. The company started as a recording label releasing the hit album by Darius Twyman & Destiny “Fulfilling My Destiny” in 1998. They went on to release other projects such as “The Midwest Regional Mass Choir” and “His Image” to name a few. As a recording label, Inner Court received great acclaim across the country as one of the “on the rise independent labels.” Inner Court was also featured in The Detroit News as one of Detroit’s “up and coming black owned businesses.”
Inner Court has evolved from a recording label to a production company/recording studio. Our state-of-the-art recording facility is considered one of the Detroit area’s top studios. We have produced or recorded hundreds of projects throughout the years for both national and local recording artists. Inner Court has worked on projects featuring Marvin Winans, John P. Kee, Dorinda Clark Cole, Karen Clark Sheard, Donnie McClurkin, Ernest Pugh, Shirley Caesar and many others.
Even though we’ve recorded many genres of music, our main focus and ministry is gospel music. Inner Court offers services in the following areas; recording, songwriting and arranging, producing and artist development.
